'Incredible Print Show' at Artstream Gallery

I am participating in the ‘Incredible Print Show’, opening tonight at Artstream Gallery (Rochester, New Hampshire). The exhibition features over 30 artists from around the world and showcases a great variety of printmaking processes.

New Locket sets in collaboration with Polarity!

I have recently collaborated with Etsy seller Polarity to create 3 beautiful locket sets. Each locket set has 3 magnetic interchangeable lids - two with my illustrations and one with a definition of a concept word.

These industrial little lockets are created from a recycled steel auto part! They are made and shipped by the Lovely cat from Polarity and you can find them either in my shop or in polarity's etsy shop.

Frankie Magazine calendar

I got my copy of the 2010 Frankie Magazine calendar in the mail today and I am so smitten by it! It is printed on a beautiful art paper and features my 'Happy moment' illustration alongside beautiful illustrations by Louise Robinson, Sarah Mcneil, Ashley G and Drew, Lilly Piri, Anke Weckmann, Emily Martin, Ghostpatrol, Mel Stringer, Paola Zakimi, Catherine Campbell and Marjorie Liucci.

'Curvy' Exhibition and book

I am going to be part of the Yen Magazine 'Curvy' book and exhibition for 2009! Yen Magazine is Australia’s #1 independent magazine for women and I am truly excited to be included as there were close to 1600 submissions from 40 countries.

The national exhibition kicks off with its official launch in Sydney, Australia, at Mori Gallery, 168 Day Street on Thursday April 2nd, 8-11pm.

'Love' Book

The lovely and super talented illustrator Samantha Hahn created a BEAUTIFUL art book on "Love", just in time for Valentine's day. She asked 25 artists & writers to create a piece inspired by their idea of love for this book, and I am excited that my 'Healing' illustration is included, among the work by this talented group of artists:

Hannah Stouffer, Lilly Piri, Aaron Hogg, Lisa Butterworth, Dan Funderburgh, Samantha Hahn, Erin Loechner, Jesse Breytenbach, Kate Miss, Jessica Gonacha, Kelly Lynn Jones, Yasmine Surovec, Shira Sela, Matthew and Sandy Lynn Davis (Treatzone), Maditi, Amy Sahba, Ez Pudewa, Hijiri Shepherd, Marisa Haedike, Lisa Congdon, Holly Becker, Kate Neckel, Katie Sokoler, Kate Bingaman Burt, and of course Samantha Hahn herself.

In Samantha's words:
"Love is the ideal subject for artists to interpret. We all love, but everyone defines love differently in their minds and hearts. We all love differently and the same. We are connected through love and art.
Love is available through blurb for $16.95 for a softcover, $25.95 for a hardcover with a dust jacket, and $27.95 for hardcover with "image wrap". It contains 40 pages of incredible art including a couple of pages of amazing writing".
